Who we are

Encodius is a software company registered in Serbia. We operate this website and decide how personal data collected through it is handled, which makes us the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, session recording, or profiling. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not sell or rent data to anyone.

The one thing this site stores in your browser is your language choice, saved under the name "encodius-lang". It is written only if you actually use the EN / SR switch, it stays on your device, and it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Typefaces are served as part of this website rather than loaded from a separate font service, so opening a page does not create an additional request to a font provider.

The contact form

If you write to us through the form on our site, we receive the e-mail address, subject and message you enter. We use them only to read and answer your enquiry.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and - where your message concerns working together - taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative and acting as our processor under a data processing agreement. Web3Forms keeps a copy of each submission for up to 7 days. Nothing is submitted until you press send.

Web3Forms and our other providers may process data outside Serbia and the EEA. Where required, those transfers are covered by contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.

Providing these details is voluntary, but without them we cannot receive and answer your enquiry. We do not use them for automated decision-making.

Hosting and server logs

This static site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process standard technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, request time, requested page and browser user agent, for security and reliability. Encodius does not receive or maintain these access logs and does not use them to identify visitors.

How long we keep things

Web3Forms keeps form submissions for up to 7 days. We keep ordinary enquiry correspondence in our mailbox for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then delete it.

If an enquiry leads to a contract or another business relationship, relevant correspondence may be kept longer where needed to perform the contract, establish or defend legal claims, or meet accounting and other legal obligations.

Who else sees your data

Only the service providers we need in order to run the site and answer you, and only for that purpose:

• GitHub, which hosts and serves this website through GitHub Pages.
• Web3Creative, which operates Web3Forms and delivers contact form submissions to us.
• Namecheap Private Email, where our company mailbox is hosted.

We do not use a CRM for website enquiries. Beyond these providers, we disclose personal data only where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and to give you a copy; to correct it if it is wrong; to delete it; to restrict how we use it; to receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable; or to object to our using it. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address above.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you may complain to a supervisory authority - in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection; in the EEA, the authority for the country where you live or work.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here.
